Arriving to and departing from the ORA programmes is straightforward as Oxford and Cambridge are well connected to the UK’s major airports and St Pancras International railway station. We know that for a number of our students this is the first time that they will have travelled abroad by themselves, so here at Oxford Royale Academy we have a dedicated airport transfer team to help students make their way to our campuses.

If you are flying long-haul, London Heathrow is likely to be your destination, with flights from all over the world departing from and arriving to the UK's busiest airport every single day. London Gatwick also has a significant number of long-haul destinations.
For those who are travelling a shorter distance, there are a multitude of options. London Stansted, Luton and Gatwick airports are major bases for airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair with large European networks. Stansted is ideal for students enrolling on our Cambridge courses, located just south of Cambridge.
Birmingham International Airport is also a major European destination, but also has flights to Dubai with Emirates, making it possible to connect with destinations throughout the Middle East and beyond. It may also be worth considering Birmingham particularly during the London Olympics, when flight prices are likely to be higher for the London airports. Birmingham International is ideally located for Oxford, with a direct train doing the journey in 1 hour.
Our Coach Transfers operate between Oxford and London Heathrow only on arrival and departure days (Sunday and Saturdays). Students will be met by an ORA representative at the arrivals zone who will help them with their luggage and show them to the coach.
Make sure when booking a coach transfer with ORA to let us know your flight number and departure time from Heathrow, so we can ensure you are at the airport on time. A one way journey will cost £25 per student. To make a booking please click on the Airport Transfer Booking Form Below.
Our Taxi Transfers travel to and from all major London airports, Birmingham airport and the London Eurostar at St. Pancras International. Arriving students will be met at the arrivals barrier by the taxi driver who will be carrying an ORA sign showing the student's name. The students will be taken to the taxi and driven straight to their college. When leaving the programme students are collected from their college and taken to the correct terminal with plenty of time to spare.
