For students aged 16-18 - the Global Leadership Programme

The Oxford Royale Academy student body is truly international.  In 2012, we welcomed students from over 90 nations to our summer schools, and students from more than 25 nations are already registered for 2013 !  Such cultural diversity creates the perfect environment for students to study and discuss the topic of international leadership, and they can now do so with guidance from expert teachers on the ORA Global Leadership Programme.

New for 2013, the Global Leadership Programme is designed to help students develop the key competencies required to lead teams on an international stage.  At the same time, attendees will study the theory behind Politics and International Relations, the Philosophy of leadership, and the Economic context of decision making.  Each student will bring their own cultural perspective to seminars and debates, leading to dynamic and well-informed discussion and study.

For students aged 13-15 - New Perspectives: Politics, International Relations and British History with Leadership and Teambuilding

For students in this age group, we are delighted to offer the Politics and International Relations & British History module for morning study.  Students might only have covered such topics superficially in their educational lives to date, but with Oxford Royale they have the chance to explore the subjects in greater depth, under the guidance of two specialist teachers.

The Politics and International Relations element is designed to introduce students to the study of politics and international relations by exposing them to the principles of liberal democratic politics and discussing contemporary issues dominating world politics.  This is supplemented by the British History module, which looks at the topic over the last two centuries, considering political, social, economic and cultural change.  For more information on the module, please click here.

To supplement the Politics, International Relations & British History module, students aged 13-15 can also choose to follow the afternoon workshop of Leadership and Teambuilding.  This module is designed to increase confidence and self-belief in students, by engaging them in a number of team activities and scenarios.  For more information on this module, please click here.
