Overview

This programme is an intensive 2 week immersion in the technical and conversational subtleties of English in the workplace. The programme runs throughout July and August each summer.

General Information

In the Business English Programme professionals examine the complexities of the language in engaging structured business scenarios. Through 20 hours a week of small group tuition, students on this course have the opportunity to gain a good grasp of the vocabulary, linguistic structures and idioms used in the workplace and in the meeting room.

Who is this course for?

This programme is for adult executives that want to become more confident with their use of English in meetings, presentations, on the telephone and in negotiations.

Location

Situated on Mansfield Road, opposite Mansfield and Harris Mancester Colleges, and just around the corner from New College, the University Club is just 5 minutes walk from the heart of the city.

Facts

Opened in 2004 by the Vice Chancellor of Oxford University to provide a social and sporting centre for all staff, post-graduates, alumni and retired staff of the university, the University Club offers superb en-suite rooms and excellent views across the Club field. Within the unique crescent-shaped building is a bar, café, plasma TV screens and a gym. Expect to see several games of cricket played on the pavilion!

Deposit

There is a deposit of 395 pounds which secures the booking and is deducted from the balance payment.
