How does the card work?

The Virgin Pre-Pay MasterCard is a very handy card that will work at millions of outlets and cash points all over the world.

Simply send a bankers draft before you travel (or while you are travelling) and you will then be able to use the card at any point displaying the MasterCard logo.

How do I apply for mine?

It only costs £9.95 + £5.00 administration/postage charge to sign up for your card, and it will last for 3 years internationally. You can top up the card from your home before you leave, or you can top up here in Oxford.

Note: Spending Restriction

For international students there is likely to be a £1,600 spending limit per year (which is about $3,000, as of 8^th April 2008).
