Teachers

Oxford Royale Academy offers a wide variety of classes from English Language Teaching (including IELTS and TOEFL) to a broad range of cultural and academic programmes.

Student Counsellors

Oxford Royale Academy offers university students an excellent employment opportunity for the summer months.  Counsellors will be offered the option of accommodation, and all will receive lunch and dinner meals. Administration

Oxford Royale Academy offers employment opportunities throughout the year for those interested in helping our administrative team.  This work would suit graduate students, or those looking for part-time employment.  Hours can be as little as 5 hours per week and as much as 30 hours per week. Marketing

Oxford Royale Academy offers excellent employment opportunities for those interested in marketing and keen on travel.  Thoughout the year we travel to a number of countries (including America and Japan) to advertise our programme at Trade Fairs and International Schools.If you are interested in joining our marketing team, please send us your CV and covering letter, or contact us for further information.

Intent

The aim of this policy is to communicate the commitment of Director to the promotion of equality of opportunity in Oxford Royale Academy.

Implementation

The Director has specific responsibility for the effective implementation of this policy. We expect all our employees to abide by the policy and help create the equality environment which is its objective.

In order to implement this policy we shall:

  • Communicate the policy to employees, job applicants and relevant other (e.g. contract or agency workers);

  • Incorporate specific and appropriate duties in respect of implementing the equal opportunities policy into job descriptions and work objectives of all staff;

  • Ensure that those who are involved in assessing candidates for recruitment or promotion will be trained in non-discriminatory selection techniques;

  • Incorporate equal opportunities notices into general communications practices (e.g. staff newsletters, blog)

Monitoring and Review

The effectiveness of our equal opportunities policy will be reviewed regularly (at least annually) and action taken as necessary.

Complaints

Employees who believe that they have suffered any form of discrimination, harassment or victimisation are entitled to raise the matter through the allegation procedure. A copy of these procedures is available from William Humphreys. All complaints of discrimination will be dealt with seriously, promptly and confidentially.
