Getting to Yarnton from Oxford
Yarnton can easily be reached from Oxford city centre by taking the S3 bus, departing from either the railway station or the George Street bus stop. Please visit the Stagecoach website for further information. We can also arrange for minibus collection from the Yarnton bus stop.
Yarnton Manor is also a 15-minute taxi journey from the city centre of Oxford.
Getting to Oxford
Getting to and from Oxford is straightforward as the city is well connected to all of the UK’s major airports and to St Pancras International railway station.
If you are flying long-haul, London Heathrow is likely to be your destination. As the UK’s busiest airport, hundreds of flights from all over the world arrive at and depart from Heathrow every day. London Gatwick also serves a significant number of long-haul destinations.
For those who are travelling a shorter distance, there are a multitude of options. London Stansted, Luton and Gatwick airports are major bases for airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair with large European networks.
Birmingham International Airport is also a major European destination, but does offer flights to Dubai, with Emirates, making it possible to connect with destinations throughout the Middle East and beyond. There is a direct train service between Birmingham International Airport and Oxford. Journey time is approximately 1 hour.
Public Transport to/from Airports
London Heathrow and Gatwick airports are linked to Oxford by The Airline coach service, which operates a direct frequent service twenty-four hours a day. This can be booked online at http://www.oxfordbus.co.uk/ or bought from the driver in cash. The cost of a return ticket is 15 – 35 GBP.
London Stansted and London Luton airports are linked to Oxford by the National Express 737 coach service, running every two hours. Tickets can be booked online at: http://www.nationalexpress.com/ or bought from the driver in cash. The cost of a return ticket is around 25 GBP from Stansted Airport and 17 GBP from Luton Airport.

An increasing number of Oxford Royale Academy students travelling from Europe choose to take the Eurostar to St Pancras International. The quickest way to transfer from St Pancras International to Oxford is to take another train, departing from London Paddington Station, which can be reached by taxi, or by London Underground (the tube). Trains from London
A direct train runs between London Paddington Station and Oxford every 30 minutes and the journey duration is 55 minutes. Make sure you check train times online at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/. Once you get to Oxford station, you can take a taxi to Yarnton Manor.
