ORA offers reductions of up to 100% of course fees to outstanding students in financial hardship.
Scholarships and Financial Aid for ORA’s Oxford summer schools
Applications for our 2018 scholarships are now open! Applications will close on Friday 24th November.
Students seeking financial aid may apply for an academic scholarship at Oxford Royale Academy, which may result in a maximum 100% reduction in course fees. Scholarships are available for two week courses only.
We receive a huge number of applications for financial aid each year, and only a small percentage of students are successful. Scholarships are available for students aged 13-18 who wish to enrol on one of our courses. Please be aware that travel costs are not included in any scholarship award. Students will be responsible for covering all travel costs incurred.
Aside from summer school programmes, Oxford Royale also offers Thomas Garner Scholarships for 10 Week Gap Year Programmes at our International Study Centre.
Financial aid will be available on the following summer programmes for students aged between 13 and 18:
How to Apply
The application process is made up of three stages, which are detailed below:
Stage 1 – Applicants will complete an online form.
Stage 2 – After Stage 1 applications have closed, all submissions will be marked by the Oxford Royale scholarships panel, and a shortlist of candidates will be announced. Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide further information to accompany their application. This information may include some or all of the following:
- Answers to further Online Questions
- Financial Aid Verification (evidence of financial hardship)
- Recent Grades or Examination Results
- References from Teachers
Stage 3 – The successful applicants will then be contacted, and the results announced to the public.
All applicants will have to specify which course and which dates they wish to attend during the scholarship application process. Students do not have to pay a course deposit before applying for the scholarship. Additionally, unsuccessful scholarship applicants who do not wish to continue with a regular enrolment will be under no obligation to process a course deposit payment. Unsuccessful applicants who still wish to register are required to make a deposit payment to secure a place on their chosen course.
Please note – any dates and times mentioned above are provisional and subject to change.
