- The purpose of the role is to support all areas of the business by sourcing products and suppliers for all the Company’s major items. Reporting to the Head of Finance, but working closely with the Operations Team, this role will be key in ensuring that all the business’s product requirements are delivered with the required cost, quality and delivery targets.
Key responsibilities will include:
Identifying suitable suppliers and developing key partnerships
Ensuring suppliers are fully vetted and credit checked
Maximising supplier payment terms and ensuring satisfactory trading terms are in place
Ensuring best value pricing is always being offered
Agreeing service levels
Monitoring contract performance
Monitoring and controlling delivery schedules from suppliers and onward distribution to internal customers
Managing contract and agreement renewals and undertaking tendering processes as required
Optimising stock positions through awareness of stock levels and lead times
Resolving supplier discrepancies on pricing, service, delivery & invoicing
With the main activity of the business focused in the June to August period, it is essential that you have the ability to plan and manage a large volume of tasks quickly, efficiently and with minimal supervision, identifying innovative solutions directly.

Essential Qualifications / Experience
2 years active experience in purchasing and procurement
Direct interaction with suppliers and (internal) customers
Raising and creating purchase orders
Reconciliation of order through delivery through invoicing
Experience in stock control
Project management training
Strong IT skills
Comfortable in using operational, accounting and purchasing systems and software

- Overview: We are seeking well-qualified and engaging Academic Teachers in a wide variety of subjects to work with students from around the world in summer 2018.
We offer demanding and rewarding courses for students aged between 13-25 in Oxford, Cambridge and London. Courses must be taught to the highest standards, with students leaving feeling they have been inspired and challenged during their time with us.
Teaching groups will be a maximum size of fifteen students, aged 13-15, 16-18 and 19-25. Between 5 and 21 hours of teaching will be available per week. We provide extensive training and support for our teachers. Prior experience of teaching is helpful but not a requirement.
